Tab Bar
Application unlike any other screen capturing tools supports multi-tabbed interface. User can have the same experience as browser without requiring them to open one image at a time to review the content. User can drag and drop, arrange, rename, duplicate, copy the tabs.
User can adjust the maximum tab limit in user preferences. Any opened document not visible in the tab-row can be viewed in tab drop down.

Canvas
The work space to do all operations on image is Canvas. Pixit Application supports two types of canvas, one is Image Canvas and the other is Virtual Canvas. Image Canvas is a region to view and edit images imported or captured with Pixitin the application. Region around the image canvas after importing/embedding the image is the Virtual canvas.
Pixit supports adding annotations in both canvas. Unlike other products Application supports adding annotations in Virtual Canvas is seamlessly doneboth canvases. Virtual canvas helps the user not to worry about expanding the image canvas to add annotations. Tool will take care of auto canvas expansion when copied into external applications.

Image Properties
Applications manages a large number of images and to fetch an image among a number of files, created/modified date, categories, rating, tags and flag are used. Categories help to identify the appropriate images. Rate and flag are used to differentiate each image. Tags are helpful to quickly point an image. Details of image such as name, file type, size etc. are available under Image info.
Category:
User can add category to images to reduce time of search. User can save images with category as main folder and subcategory as sub folder in file directory.

Category:
User can add category and sub-category to images for better organization. These properties are used in searching for relevant images and also for sharing. By default, the category and sub-category are set to pre-defined default values (Default-Default). Each category can have any number of sub-categories. Any new capture taken will be initialized with default values. These can be easily changed.Each category can have any number of sub-categories. For example, Marketing category can have Events and Presentations as sub categories.
Click button to open Category Manager for adding, updating and removing categories and associated subcategories. Please see the category manager in the following figure.

- In Manage Tags add, edit, view file count and delete tags.

Image Info: Image details are available under Image info. Pixit saves the image details as meta-data which will on, , to enter tags or select from the listed tags for the active image. Each tag must be followed by ';' to add the tag. All new tags are stored in the repository and can be reused. These tags help to search images better.
Click on Manage Tags button to open tag manger interface for managing tags for all images.
Image Info:
Image details are available on clicking Image info. ,button, Application saves the image details as image properties that can be used to organize and search images.

: All the annotations added on the image with respective annotation type, created time, created user, location information is available which will be helpful in building wireframedesigning wire frame drawings.
Histogram
: Color tones like histograms for Luminosity, Red, Green, Blue along with Dimensions, Pixels and other image color information are obtained here so that user can modify them in Image mode if required.
